The Bank of Cyprus Group is a big international holding structure being the leading banking and financial services group in Cyprus and Greece. This purchase is the biggest investment in the Russian banking sector on behalf of the financial institutions of Greece and Cyprus

In the framework of the memorandum on cooperation between Uniastrum Bank and the Bank of Cyprus Group - signed on November 2008 - the two banks have decided a joint program for their common strategy in the Russian territory for the three years (2009-2011). In order to manage the changes on Information Technology side, Uniastrum Bank is looking to recruit its Systems and Organisations Manager

Job description
The appointment of a Systems and Organisations Manager is an important factor in the enhancement of existing systems and in the implementation of any new systems and methodology for on-going projects.

This function is considered necessary in order to administer change control in on-going projects (have a "final say") within the Uniastrum IT team. It would also have a much broader function within the Bank.

The successful candidate will be primary responsible for providing operational direction to the Bank's Business Units, by developing, managing and continually improving the operational and tactical performance of the organisation.

Your Mission:

- To coordinate with IT to satisfy both internal and external requirements, customer service expectations.
- To participate in the successful use/evaluation of technology, capable of meeting the current and future service and project strategies of the Bank, including timely solutions in the delivery of products and services.
- To identify, recommend and implement ways to maximize the Business Unit's performance and contribution.
- To be responsible for the Project Management and Procedures functions and have a decisive role in the prioritarisation of projects.
- To develop customer service strategies by implementing transaction related systems and procedures.
- To have an on-going relationship with all parties involved, i.e. Business Users, ITD and Group IT.
- To work closely together with these two parties, find ways to help users do their work more efficiently, based on latest trends in banking technology.

Main Functions:

- To lead a specialised team comprising of Project Management and Organisation and Methods.
- To provide operational direction to the Business Units.
- To be responsible for coordinating/overseeing day-to-day system implementations.
- To ensure successful use of technology and systems.
- To develop/Implement customer service strategies (e.g. centralized service centers) in cooperation with IT and Group IT.
- To provide timely solutions on new products, services and compliance.
- To decide on priorities of user requirements (new and on-going).
- To review and coordinate with IT day-to-day problems faced by system users.

Who we are looking for
- You have a long experience in Banking IT, with very good knowledge of Retail Banking technology
- You have higher education in engineering or IT management.
- From 4/5 years of experience in the banking domain as PMO and/or Deputy IT Director
- You have a solid track record in managing teams of people, motivate them, with the faculty to work hands-on with them
- Your communication skills and diplomatic approach would be essential in your interface with Headquarters in Cyprus & locally
- You are a problem-solver, and mature professional who can bring solutions to the business
- Prince 2, PMI or PMP certification is preferred.
- Experience in the PLC design and implementation.
- You have strong planning skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Fluent English, verbal and written
- Fluent Russian
